Certificação e treinamento EPM 2010

De acordo com o nosso post sobre certificação, o nosso amigo, Doug McCutcheon postou um video em Inglês explicando como serão os treinamentos e certificações para 2010.

Novidades:

• Não teremos treinamento oficial da Microsoft, só de parceiros. (A BHS já esta preparando a atualização do treinamento do Project 2007 para a versão 2010)
• Previsão de lançamento das certificações:
  • Exame 70-177: Microsoft Project Server 2010, Configuring (Lançamento em Junho)
  • Exame 77-178: Microsoft Project 2010, Managing Projects (Lançamento em Setembro)

Integrando o SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services com o SharePoint 2007

Vamos assumir que estamos num servidor com MOSS 2007 (Microsoft OFfice SharePoint Server) + SQL Server 2008 em umWindows Server 2008!

1.Instale o Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services Add-in for Microsoft SharePoint Technologies (clique aqui).

a.Esse arquivo basicamente lhe permitirá ativar a feature “Report Server Integration Feature”

2. Vamos configurar o “Reporting Server” pelo “Reporting Services Configuration Manager”

3. Aba Service Account: para esse cenário usaremos “Network Service” como conta de serviço.

4. Na aba “Web Service URL ” use o padrão “ReportServer” Virtual Directory.
Essa URL é hospedada pelo IIS

5. Aba Database: use o banco de dados padrão “ReportServer”

6. Na Aba “Report Manager URL” simplesmente não faça nada! Como usaremos a integração com o SharePoint essa feature não será necessária. (menos um passo :D)

7. Para as próximas abas, simplesmente use o padrão!

Configurando o Reporting Server na Central de Administração do SharPoint

1. Abra a Cetral de Administração do SharePoint: Start | All Programs | Microsoft Office Server …

2. Clique em: Site Action | Site Settings | Site Collection Features e habilite a feature: “Report Server Integration Feature”

3. Agora temos que dar as permissões necessárias ao Report Server.

a. Volte para “Application Management” e encontre a seção “Reporting Services”

b. Clique em: “Grant database access””

c. Digite o seu servidor e depois escolha “Default Instance” e clique em OK!

d. Digite o usuário(dominio\uername) e senha e depois OK!

4. Clique em: “Manage integration settings"

a. “Report Server Web Service” é basicamente: “/ReportServer">http://<server-name>/ReportServer”

b. Selecione: Authenticated Mode: Trusted Account.

E pronto!!!! :D
Espetacular, hein?
E fácil….

Mas já adianto que teremos um problem se você usa o Project Server 2007.
Esse problema é relacionado com o processamento do CUBO OLAP do Project Server 2007.

Acessando uma Biblioteca do SharePoint ou Qualquer Network Path pelo Windows Server 2008

Provavelmente você já teve esse problema.

Problema: Tentar acessar uma pasta do SharePoint ou qualquer Network Path pelo Windows Server 2008 e obteve a seguinte  tela:

“Path does not exist.
Check the path and try again.”

Terrível, não? :(
Na verdade o que está faltando é uma feature chamada: “Desktop Experience”

Solução: Simples, Ativar essa feature! :D

1. Clique no botão “Start”
2. Digite “Server Manager”
3. Selecione “Add Feature”
4. Adicione “Desktop Experience”

A ativação da feature necessita reiniciar o servidor! :S

Após reiniciar! “Tarammm… :D”

• Não existe previsão para provas de upgrade de SharePoint 2007.
• Para fazer a prova PRO, provavelmente teremos que passar na prova TS.
• Não existe planos para provas de SharePoint Foundation 2010.

Lançamento do ano: Project 2010, Project Server 2010 e SharePoint 2010 versão final

RTM = Release to manufacturing (Versão de produção ou versão final)

Primeiramente tenho que dar os parabéns a equipe de produto da Microsoft pela brilhante ideia. Como a nova versão exige alguns requisitos não tão fáceis de encontrar numa máquina normal, disponibilizaram uma máquina virtual através do Browser, tornando disponível para qualquer pessoa “brincar” com os novos produtos.

Virtual Lab:

• Este laboratório virtual é a mesma versão do download abaixo, mas disponível através de um servidor de host, possibilitando um experiência diretamente do seu Internet Explorer. Por favor clique aqui para continuar.
• Prestem muita atenção aos requisitos do sistema – especialmente se você estiver em um ambiente corporativo protegido por firewall!

• Download inclui requisitos, instruções de configuração e scripts de demonstração - continuar aqui.
• Por favor preste muita atenção ao documento Setting up the Host Machine, ele inclue medidas importantes para restaurar a máquina virtual!
